A party to celebrate the opening of Tiipoi's first stand-alone pop up space in London for the Christmas period.
Tiipoi is a design studio and brand based between London and Bangalore with a new take on Indian Design.
For the festive season and into the new year, Tiipoi have been invited to take over No 32 Thurloe Square - a shop space in South Kensington, next door to design shop Skandium.
Snacks and drinks for the evening will be by YSM8, a South-East London based supper-club event series based around Punjabi vegetarian food dishes, founded by Poonam Dhuffer.
Tiipoi’s product display in the shop is a play on crates used in Indian markets and wholesale fruit and veg shops – that display produce in ways that are both efficient and beautiful. This balance between design and decoration is also at the core of Tiipoi’s product collections.
Tiipoi’s product collections make great gifts for Christmas and include contemporary accessories that are designed for everyday life. Ranging from copper and brass storage pots, pourers, bowls and trays, to fragrant candles and woven and quilted textiles.
Also in-store will be their newest collection, 'SIMENT' a collection of concrete brutalist vases and planters that are architecturally inspired by India’s urban infrastructure.
