The emphasis on this fun interactive workshop will include:
An understanding of food basics such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, fibre, vitamins and antioxidants in the context of Indian cooking.
Interesting facts and tips on common ingredients used in Indian Cooking e.g. garlic, ginger, turmeric, chillies etc
Learn to prepare (and eat) a range of snacks, mains and dips that you can replicate at home.
The workshop will be led by Dr Vineet Thapar who is of Indian origin and a GP with an interest in healthy eating.
