ARE YOU LOOKING TO DO MORE BUSINESS IN INDIA, EITHER THROUGH EXPORTS, BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS, JOINT VENTURES OR SETTING UP A COMPANY? MEET A TEAM OF LEGAL AND POLICY EXPERTS FROM INDIA IN AN EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP FOR UP TO 20 ATTENDEES ON HOW TO NAVIGATE THE COMPLEX LANDSCAPE OF INDIA.
This very practical workshop will help give you an overview of incorporating a company, accounting, tax, joint ventures, export rules, letters of credit, customs issues, case studies of how to manage partners, and in-depth market insight about working in India. It will be delivered by legal, regulatory and policy experts from our team, as well as one of India’s pre-eminent law firms Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan.
We’ve helped a number of British businesses establish their presence in India, often in conjunction with chambers of commerce and UK government, and ran the UK office for the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for several years, so have a good idea of what British SMEs are looking for. We’ve worked closely with Derby City Council to facilitate Indian partnerships particularly in the city of Kolkata in East India.
We’ve conducted a number of these workshops in London, and because of high demand, are running it for the first time in Derby.
This event is being held in conjunction with Derby City Council and the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce.
